Whether it’s Boat, Ice, Deep, DUP, Photography, Enriched Air Nitrox , Navigation, Naturalist , Wreck or one of your own, Specialty Instructors are out there diving and training. Join the fun.

After becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) you'll want to teach divers specific types of diving dependant to what your local area offers. To do this you need to be able to teach PADI Specialties. By doing so you can heighten your students' comfort level and strengthening their underwater skills, ultimately leading to their enjoyment of diving more than ever before.

Specialty Instructors:

Teach Specialty courses to divers in a variety of areas from wreck diving to underwater videography.

As a PADI Specialty Instructor

You're on your way to becoming a Master Scuba Diver Trainer with only five Specialty Instructor ratings
You challenge your students to become Master Scuba Divers
You increase your marketability as a PADI Professional

FREE PADI NITROX INSTRUCTOR

Camille now includes your Nitrox Instructor rating for FREE in all IDC courses and internships (this offer does not include required materials for becoming a Nitrox diver / Inst. and applications fees).

Accommodation on Samui ranges from simple moderately priced beach bungalows for 500 Baht per night with shower & fan up to medium priced Resorts with Air-con rooms with en suite toilet & bathroom priced 1200 - 2000 Baht per night.

We can help you find a self catering Bungalow for between 8000 - 12000 Baht per month, equipped with cooking facilities and living room. In fact most of our Divemaster / IDC Candidates staying for extended periods select this option, some have even found decent rooms for less than 8000 Baht , although you would need to rent and ride a small moped (90cc) to get around which costs approximately 3500 Baht per month. For your arrival on Samui, we are pleased to provide complimentary transfer to your resort and provide information on the local area.

For some Instructor Specialties, additional costs will occur;

Digital Underwater Photography (DUP) Camera rental is not included and the DUP Crew Pack is required

Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) - DPV rental is not included

Drysuit - Drysuit rental is not included

Nitrox Diver - If you're not a Nitrox diver yet, the Nitrox crew pack is required

Multi Level diver - A computer and the RDP wheel are required

Underwater Naturalist - Fish ID slates are required

Underwater Navigation - A compass and a Nav finder are required

Night Dive - One main and one back up torch/dive light are required (rental is possible)

Search & Recovery - A compass, a liftbag, a Nav finder, a dive light and underwater gloves are required

Underwater Videography - Camera rental is not included

Wreck diving - This specialty would have to be conducted in a suitable area with wrecks
