PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER TRAINER MSDT INTERNSHIP

After you have successfully completed the IE you have an opportunity to achieve the rating of Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) through our 4-5 day Prep MSDT program or the 3-4 week MSDT internship.

  The pre-requisites for the Master Scuba   Diver Trainer MSDT

rating are that you can teach at least five PADI Instructor level Specialties and have 25 PADI Diver certifications.

Once the preparation course is completed you will get to teach and certify 25 students during your internship in one of Samui International Diving School 's many centers, teaching all levels including entry level Open Water students, Advanced Open Water courses, Rescue Diver courses and Specialty courses. On completion of the internship you will be ready to send your application off for the Master Scuba Diver Trainer Rating.

off by having you team teach with one of our experienced instructors, assisting on several courses from beginner up to Divemaster levels (where possible). Team teaching with an experienced instructor will provide you with valuable hints and tips on how to conduct the PADI courses and provide an insight into how to schedule courses effectively.

Once you receive your teaching status as an OWSI from PADI, we will then allow you to begin teaching more independently, having one of our experienced instructors on hand to supervise and answer any questions that might arise during your internship.

During the 4-5 day fast track MSDT program and the full length internship, you can choose to become an instructor in FIVE of the following Instructor Specialties and the Enriched Air Nitrox Instructor Specialty which is included at no extra cost:

Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Instructor is included in the MSDT prep and internship package. As a stand alone PADI Instructor Specialty course it does have additional costs.

Completing the MSDT Internship and having certified 25 PADI divers on various levels will certainly give you a cutting edge and a head start in finding a job in this competitive industry.
