Hello, my name is Sabrina,
I decided to do my IDC-Staff course with Camille in 2003.
After two years of teaching experience, I thought it was time to go the next step.
I chose Camille to be my Course Director, I knew him personally and knew the way he teaches his courses, and this was very important to me as his inspiration led me to sign up in the first place.
As an IDCS candidate you see the IDC in a different way, you learn to improve your skills and knowledge to the maximum.
Thinking about it, I shouldn’t have waited two years, but do it much sooner!
To see how Camille took care of his candidates on arrival, by helping them find accommodation and prepared them before the IDC started was impressing
( the prep course wasn’t even an “option” in my IDC)
Camille has an excellent way of teaching the IDC and of getting you to understand thing by example, should you still have a problem with something he will take you to the side and work it out.
In fact I think he is a walking book of knowledge as he always seems to have the answer to all questions. (-:
But don’t think that because of his professionalism he can not make the lessons fun!
He will crack one of his jokes when you least expect it!
He has influenced my ways of teaching to the positive, I learned to improve my techniques….especially in the Dive Master course.
The experience I gained in this IDCS course opened my eyes even to the things I forgotten and standards that had changed since I did my IDC.
Over all to have completed this program helped me in many ways especially in the diving business , now I earn more money never have a problem finding a job plus I get to teach all the Dive Master courses!!
The diving centers will give you more responsibility and will more likely offer an important position like Manager to you!
So all in all if you are planning to do your Idc do it with Camille, he is the best there is.
And if you are already an instructor sign up for your IDCS course, you will know what I am talking about once you have done it!!!

Accommodation on Samui ranges from simple moderately priced beach bungalows for 500 Baht per night with shower & fan up to medium priced Resorts with Air-con rooms with en suite toilet & bathroom priced 1200 - 2000 Baht per night.
We can help you find a self catering Bungalow for between 8000 - 12000 Baht per month, equipped with cooking facilities and living room. In fact most of our PADI Divemaster / Instructor Candidates staying for extended periods select this option, some have even found decent rooms for less than 8000 Baht , although you would need to rent and ride a small moped (90cc) to get around which costs approximately 3500 Baht per month. For your arrival on Samui, we are pleased to provide complimentary transfer to your resort and provide information on the local area.
I have been lucky enough to have sat in on two of Camille's IDCs. I completed my IDC Staff course with Camille in 2004, and Camille was kind enough to then let me staff an IDC with him, further helping me with my presentation and scoring techniques. During this time Camille was encouraging and always available to help or advise.
Camille is a very experienced Course Director / Instructor, and this shows in his presentations. The classroom time with Camille was always informative, yet still entertaining. Camille knows the PADI system inside out, and knows how to help YOU get through your IDC.
