Dive Trips and Dive Courses on Koh Lanta

IDC Thailand in conjunction with Blue Planet Divers and Scubafish welcome you on the tropical island of Koh Lanta where there are some excellent dive sites in crystal clear tropical waters. The dive sites that we visit from Koh Lanta have a massive variety of marine life as well as some of the most beautiful soft corals you can find in the Andaman Sea.

Dive trips are scheduled each day to the various locations, including Bida Islands, Koh Haa, Phi Phi Ley, the King Cruiser Wreck and the fabulous Hin Daeng and Hin Muang where you may be able to spot Leopard Sharks, Manta Rays and occasionally also the odd Whale Shark!!

Recently Blue Planet, located in Saladan, the North of the island, has been awarded the PADI 5 Star Dive Center rating, which recognizes achieving professional excellence. Blue Planet prides themselves on being a small company, hence they’re able to offer you a relaxed day's diving in an intimate environment. They will try their hardest to make sure that your days diving with them will remain a memorable occasion.

Scubafish are located in Baan Kantiang, the beautiful little village in the very South of Koh Lanta and they believe that small is best when it comes to diving, so they promise you small groups, an unbeatable level of personal service and above all, a great time.

English, French, German, Swedish, Danish, Spanish, Dutch and Thai languages are on the menu and the staff is able to welcome and greet you in all of these tongues. Being pleasant, helpful and professional is almost a prerequisite for the staff of both dive centers and they will make sure that you are fully satisfied. They will take care of everything and the only thing left to do for you is to relax and enjoy your day diving!

Blue Planet owns the dive boat “Choksomboon 9” (Click here to see the boat layout). The boat sails every day at either 7:00 or 8:00am from Saladan on route to one of the fantastic dive sites the Andaman Sea has to offer. Travel time to the various dive sites ranges between 1-2 hours.

Scubafish has two luxury, purpose built, Dive Boats, MV Moskito and MY Scubafish – Ko Lanta’s Ultimate High-Speed Dive Cruiser!

Both DC's will start your day with a hotel pick up, which will bring you to the shop where you meet the staff and get to know all other customers participating in that days trip. Blue Planet has a limit of 20 customers per day on board the ‘Choksoombong 9’, making sure your day trip remains comfortable and enjoyable. Diving is done with a comfortable ratio of 4 divers to 1 Divemaster, and all groups are structured in such a way that divers with equivalent certification and/or experience dive together.

An onboard breakfast is served after the morning brief and during the surface interval lunch is served. In-between dives you can take a swim or snorkel possibly have some eye shut time – just relax before getting ready for your second dive of the day!

All prices for the daily trips include full equipment rental (if you bring your own equipment you will receive a discount), hotel transfers, insurance, and food and beverages on board.
