Choosing the right school for your Instructor Training and internship is the most important decision you will make prior to entering the Dive Industry.
Instructor Development Courses and internships are taught together
with the Samui International Diving School on Koh Samui,
Thailand's first PADI Career Development Center (CDC).
Our programs provide the quality and expertise you should expect and demand during your Instructor Training. My Instructor Development Course programs will provide valuable hands-on training with the emphasis on fun and in-water application. The cutting edge knowledge gained will expand your Career Opportunities.
Our aim is to make sure that you successfully pass the PADI IE and receive that extra bit of information and knowledge to become a highly trained Open Water Scuba Instructor after the IE. You will be having fun working in a safe and reliable way on a tropical island.
You can start your scuba career at any level, as an absolute beginner at PADI Open Water diver level or at PADI Advanced Open Water diver-, PADI Rescue diver - or PADI Divemaster level. It's also possible to crossover from another Recreational dive organisation into the PADI system with a crossover program.
Special IE option for CDC's
Candidates enrolled in five pre-and/or post-IDC courses (Pre-study, EFRI, Instructor Specialties etc.) OR candidates of a six-week career development program who successfully complete an Instructor Development Course, conducted by a PADI CDC center, may attend a PADI IE if they have been certified divers for at least six months, have logged 60 dives and are certified PADI Assistant Instructors (the AI course is now an integrated part of the IDC).
CDC candidates who successfully complete an IE and subsequently meet the 100-logged-dive certification requirement will be certified as Instructors when their paperwork has been processed by PADI.
